The Faithful Servants are dedicated to reaching a lost world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through anointed singing and testimonies of God's blessings on each of them.  The group features three-part harmony, presented in the power and presence of the Holy Ghost.  Whether in a large auditorium or in a small, country church, the message is the same.....Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  He is the only answer to all needs!  The Faithful Servants travel as the Lord leads them.  Give us a call today to schedule a service in your church or for a community event where the Gospel can be shared in song.

Pam Purvis - sings lead and harmony

Singing has always been a part of Pam Purvis' spirit. Even as a young girl, Pam always received a blessing from singing. Pam began singing Gospel music at age 14. For the last 12 years, Pam ministered with her family as part of The Changing Times and, most recently, with The Paffords from Nashville, Georgia. Leaving The Paffords was a very difficult decision but, in order to be found faithful, Pam had to start the group, The Faithful Servants. Through the years, many have blessed, encouraged, prayed and uplifted Pam......more than many will ever know. God continues to bless those who serve him - just keep holding on. His return is near and we are all going home to see our loved ones, and sing praises to him forever. Love and Prayers Always.........Pam.
Brenda Saunders - keyboard, lead and harmony

Born into a singing, Christian family and has been singing since early childhood. Brenda always wanted to play the piano like her grandmother, and started playing at age 12. No one loves to play and sing any more than Brenda. She feels the Lord has given her a talent and anointing and humbly desires to use her talent to minister to the lost, the suffering, the hurting, those who may need lifting up, and everyone who enjoys Southern Gospel singing and playing. Brenda has played piano for Gospel groups in the past, but always wanted to sing with a group, as well. Brenda believes God has led her path to cross with Pam and Gary. Her prayer is for God's Holy Spirit to flow through the group and bless everyone they are privileged to minister to. Brenda is a people person and loves everybody. Her heart's desire is to do whatever part she can to lift up the Precious Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and lead those that do not know Him to the Cross.
Gary Graham - baritone and lead

Born to Martha and Eugene Graham on December 9, 1946 at the old home place in the northeast corner of Cook County (Adel), GA. He grew up on the farm and helped tend the farm, just as his other sister, Sharon, who came along a year later. A brother, Ted, came along several years later. Then, lastly, the baby of the family, Pam, who was loved just as much as the rest of the Graham clan. On the 21st day of September 1975, Gary had a born-again experience as the convicting spirit of Almighty God changed his life and he became a new creature in Christ. David Graham, a cousin, played a part in helping to lead Gary to the Lord. Gary was saved at the Nashville Mission in Nashville, GA, where Rev. Fred Hesters served as pastor. Instantly, the Lord put a song in Gary's heart and started molding and shaping Gary's gospel music ministry at the young age of 29. Gary soon felt led, by the Lord, to start a singing group called the "Changing Times". This new group consisted of Gary's sister, Sharon, and her husband, Jerry Hamner. The Changing Times are still singing and ministering through Gospel music. In the early 1980's, the Lord led Gary to an all-male group called the New Covenant Quartet. Gary ministered with this group for a number of years. When the group broke up, Gary joined the "Happy Travelers" of south Georgia. In 2000, he helped form a group known as "The Reapers". In 2001, Gary was diagnosed with cancer in both of his kidneys. Although the news was devastating, God delivered Gary through another storm at age 54. Finally, after singing with the Reapers for seven years, the Lord worked yet another miracle for him, Pam, Faye and Brenda, as they formed the group "Faithful Servants". Gary has also been blessed of the Lord to pen several songs; "Try Jesus", "Home Sweet Home", "Wait Upon The Lord", "Are You Ready For The Bye And Bye", "God's Wonderful Love", "The Mama and Daddy", "I'm Coming Up", "Up Ahead", and many others. Gary looks forward to all the great blessings of singing and sharing Christ in this new ministry........for in Christ, all things are possible to them who believe!

Steve King - our sock-foot drummer.

I was born in 1969 and started playing drums at age 18. I have been interested in playing drums since I was a little boy. The interest came when I started watching the drummer at my church. My mother finally had to break down and buy me a set of drums, because I was driving her crazy beatin' on all the pots and pans in the house. I attend Praise Temple Church of God in Sumner. I am so thankful the Lord put this group together and to be a part of it. I enjoy Southern Gospel music. This ministry is about seeing God move and people getting saved. I thank the Lord for my family; my wife, Johnna, and my three children, Jason, Bradley and Stephanie - Steve King

If you ever get the chance to see us at one of our sings, try to get a glimpse of Steve's feet while he is playing the drums. Most of the time, he is in his socks because he is just more comfortable without his shoes on. He just about stands up and plays, as his enthusiasm in the Spirit often causes him to bounce pretty high on his stool.
